-FOR THE PURPOSES OF THIS GROUP-- It is inanimate things such as bottles, vases, flowers, shells and so on that you have arranged in a particular way. The important thing is that a set-up has been portrayed in your chosen Still Life medium. No hands or living creatures are allowed. You can look in our gallery for good examples of accepted Still Life Art and Photography. Cookbooks are often a good source for Still Life material.
-EVERYONE is permitted to join the group regardless of if you are just a fan of Still Life or an Expert in it's Creation or anywhere in between! If you'd rather not join as a member you may also choose to add the group to your watch list!

Getting started with Still LifeStill Life Photography doesn't have to be difficult to achieve. There are lots of ways of getting inspired to start with the techniques that help to create still life images and this article highlights just a few of them.
